Rome Odunze believes in himself and takes pride in being one of the best receivers in football. "I am the best wide receiver in this 2024 draft class," Odunze said at the NFL Combine. "I just think my versatility sets me apart. I have shown all the skills that translate to the NFL at a high level. And I think who I am as a person, who I will be in a locker room and who I will be on the field are all an A-plus." It's hard to argue with Odunze's track record. Odunze established himself as one of the college football's top pass catchers in his final season at Washington, recording 92 catches for 1,640 yards and 13 touchdowns. Odunze had a breakout 2022 season, where he led the team in receiving yards (1,145) and was second in receptions (75). Odunze ranked as the No. 34 receiver recruit in the country and the second-best prospect coming out of Nevada in the Class of 2020. During his senior season at Las Vegas Bishop Gorman, he was named the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state after racking up 54 catches for 1,222 yards and 15 touchdowns.
