TJ Power, a 6-foot-8-inch forward with three-level scoring prowess and an all-around game, was Massachusetts’ 2021-22 Gatorade Player of the Year. He said he’s known for a while he was destined for big things. “Ever since I was little I wanted to play on the biggest stage in college,” Power said. Power averaged 23.7 points and 8.0 rebounds per game on 42% shooting during the Nike EYBL IV Session in Kansas City, earning offensive MVP honors. Power is also a left-handed pitcher in baseball who throws in the upper 80s. He hopes to play both sports in college.
