Tonie Morgan arrived at Georgia Tech for the 2022-2023 season as one of the top 25 prospects in the country. Originally from Tallahassee (Florida) Florida State University Schools, Morgan played six years of varsity seasons at Florida High. She was a 2022 McDonald’s All-America nominee and the 2022 All-Big Bend Girls Basketball Player of the Year. Morgan finished her high school career with more than 2,00 points. She said she picked Georgia Tech because of the academics, women’s basketball program and life after basketball opportunities. She was also an AAU national champion in the high jump at 12 years old.
