Gray (Georgia) Jones County High School coach Mike Chastain has no doubt in his mind that Zion Ragins is among the fastest football players in the country. Chastain says Ragins was clocked as fast as 10.3 seconds in the 100-meter dash during his sophomore and freshman track seasons. But it’s not just his speed that makes him special. “He’s one of the most exciting players in Georgia and in the Southeast,” Chastain said. “He’s a touchdown waiting to happen every time he touches the ball.” When he’s not competing in sports, Ragins enjoys playing Madden. He plans on majoring in welding in college. His favorite snacks are zebra cakes. His parents are Daniela and Jamaal Ragins.
