Yet it’s a different first-round pick of a DFW high school program, Solomon Thomas, who onlookers say Cooper is reminiscent of. Like Thomas, Cooper will attend Stanford. Cooper is a max-effort player and “leads by example”, according to his high school coach, Bob Wager. Cooper says his hobbies off the field are video editing. He plans to major in Biology.
